Before setting out on your ride all riders must note the following terms and conditions for your use of the bridleways, Payment of your bridleway fee is accepted and access granted to the bridleway on the understanding that you have read and acknowledge that the following code of conduct and terms of use as set out below apply to your use of the bridleways.
Hard hats conforming to at least PAS 015, BS EN 1384 or ASTM F 1163 with kite mark or S.E.I. to be worn by all riders at all times with a strap properly adjusted and fastened when mounted, Correct dress, footwear and hi viz vest or jacket to be worn
All owners, riders to Ballacorey Equestrian must have hold current third party public liability insurance, Riders ride at their own risk, Ballacorey Equestrian accept no liability for loss, injury or damage to any equine, person, or their property and equipment, however caused.
Ridden horses and ponies must be 4 years or over, Riders are advised to ride in small groups, Under fourteen year olds MUST ride with an adult known to them, Riders must permit passing or pass other riders slowly, No racing, No dogs, Please use parking facilities provided.
Riders with :
a) Excitable horses/ponies or horses/ponies likely to kick, should attach a red ribbon to the saddle or tail.
b) Inexperienced riders or horses/ponies should have a green ribbon on the saddle or tail.
c) Nervous horses/ponies should have a yellow ribbon on the saddle or tail.
Ribbons should be clearly visible to other riders.
Please report any incident, accident or bridleway problem as soon as possible to a steward or at reception giving details and exact location, if possible, by using “way points” or other identifiable location points.
Please keep strictly to bridleways, Obey walking only and any other signs, Respect growing crops.
Horseboxes must not be mucked out onto parking area, Horses /ponies must not be left alone when tied outside horseboxes or trailers, under no circumstances should any horse or pony be tied to a fence, also please take your rubbish home or use one of the litter bins provided.
The bridleway owners reserve the right to refuse admission at their discretion.
ALL RIDERS MUST FULLY COMPLETE AND SIGN THE “SIGNING IN “ FORM PROVIDED BEFORE SETTING OUT ON THE BRIDLEWAYS.
